Find the right care for your life.

From a new symptom to a question that has been on your mind for a while, start with the care you need. Explore the planned Allhours GP services by concern and life stage.

Explore GP services

A clear way to find your next step.

Start with a topic below or use search. A GP conversation, online clinician review, specialist assessment or in-person visit may be the right route depending on your concern.

01 / Everyday care

General medicine

Thoughtful GP assessment for new concerns, persistent symptoms and questions about your health. The right appointment format depends on what needs to be examined or discussed.

New concerns

New symptoms & illness

Talk through what has changed, what might help and when to seek further assessment.

Skin health

Skin, acne & rashes

Discuss skin concerns and whether images, a closer examination or a referral would help.

Allergy & breathing

Hay fever & asthma review

Review symptoms, current treatment and whether another form of assessment is needed.

Digestive health

Stomach & bowel concerns

Discuss symptoms such as reflux or ongoing discomfort and an appropriate next step.

Pain & movement

Headaches, joints & back

Explore symptoms with a GP, including whether an examination or further care is needed.

Medication review

Medicines & follow-up

Ask about an existing treatment or a new concern; prescribing follows a clinical decision.

02 / Personal health

Women’s & men’s health

Private conversations about concerns that can feel personal, with an assessment route shaped around symptoms, history and what matters to you.

Midlife care

Menopause

Explore symptoms, options and the follow-up that may be useful through a GP review.

Reproductive health

Contraception & periods

Talk through choices, menstrual concerns and whether a review or examination is needed.

Urinary health

Cystitis & urinary concerns

A clinician can consider symptoms and whether testing or in-person assessment is appropriate.

Men’s health

Erectile dysfunction

A private assessment of symptoms, health history and suitable treatment options, if appropriate.

Men’s health

Prostate & urinary symptoms

Discuss changes and decide whether examination, testing or onward care is needed.

Sexual health

Sexual health questions

Discuss concerns and whether tests, treatment or a specialist service is the right route.

03 / Family care

Children’s health

When something is worrying you about your child, a GP can help you understand what may be going on and whether a remote or face-to-face assessment is more suitable.

Everyday questions

Children’s GP appointments

A conversation guided by your child’s age, symptoms and individual needs.

Explore children’s GP ↗
New symptoms

Illness & fever concerns

Understand whether your child needs GP advice, an in-person examination or urgent care.

Skin health

Rashes & skin concerns

Talk about a new or ongoing skin concern and the most suitable way to assess it.

Age eligibility, safeguarding arrangements and appointment availability will be confirmed for each children’s service before booking opens.

04 / Ongoing care

Mental & long-term health

Some concerns need more than a single answer. The planned GP pathways focus on assessment, appropriate monitoring and a clear route to further support.

Wellbeing

Mental health

Discuss what you are experiencing and the support or referral that may be appropriate.

Heart health

Blood pressure & cholesterol

Review existing results, treatment and the monitoring that may be needed.

Condition reviews

Diabetes, thyroid & asthma

Discuss ongoing care, symptoms and whether tests or a planned review are appropriate.

Sleep & lifestyle

Sleep concerns

Talk through patterns, possible contributors and a sensible next step.

Tests, monitoring and repeat prescribing depend on an approved clinical pathway and are never an automatic add-on.

Planned focused pathways

Explore what people ask about most.

These topics may need a dedicated clinical pathway or specialist team. Each will have its own eligibility, process and complete pricing before launch.

Structured care

Weight management

Assessment, options and planned follow-up rather than a one-off product request.

Specialist pathway

ADHD assessment

A separate specialist service with defined stages, eligibility and aftercare.

Midlife care

Menopause care

Time to explore symptoms, treatment choices and review needs.

Men’s health

Erectile dysfunction

A private clinician-led review of symptoms, health history and options.

Hair & scalp

Hair loss

Assessment of the pattern, history and whether further investigation is useful.

Travel health

Travel clinic

Itinerary-based advice, with in-person arrangements for any offered vaccines.

ADHD and travel health are distinct services in development. A GP directory listing does not mean an assessment, medicine, vaccine or appointment is currently available.

How care may begin

The route should fit the question.

Some concerns suit a GP conversation; others need a structured assessment, specialist review or an examination. The right route will be explained before you proceed.

Tests, prescriptions and pharmacy fulfilment are possible outcomes after clinical assessment, not separate ways to bypass it. A request does not guarantee treatment or a prescription.

A clear clinical approach

Care that considers the whole picture.

Good GP care starts with the right questions. A clinician can help decide whether a remote conversation is enough, whether you need to be examined and what the next step should be.

Assessment first. A clinician considers symptoms and history before advising on treatment.

The right setting. Video, telephone and face-to-face care each have a place when clinically suitable.

Clear next steps. Tests, referrals and prescriptions depend on clinical judgement and service availability.

Good to know

Questions before you begin.

What the planned GP service index means for appointments and next steps.

Can I book one of these services today?

Not through this page. Allhours GP is in development. The directory describes planned services, and each pathway will show its scope, eligibility, available clinicians and total price before booking opens.

Does every service work by video or telephone?

No. A clinician may advise an in-person examination, a test or another service if a remote appointment is not suitable for your concern. Explore remote GP formats.

Can I request a prescription directly?

Any prescription is a clinical decision after appropriate assessment. A GP may recommend advice, tests, an examination or no medicine. Pharmacy supply, where offered, has separate arrangements and costs.

Are ADHD and travel health included in a standard GP appointment?

They are planned as separate pathways with their own clinicians, eligibility and stages. A general GP conversation may help decide an appropriate next step, but it does not replace a specialist assessment or in-person vaccination.

Can children use these services?

Children’s GP care is planned. The child’s age, symptoms and consent arrangements will affect which appointment is suitable. See the children’s GP page.

What should I do if I need urgent help?

For a life-threatening emergency, call 999. If you need urgent help but are unsure which service is right, use NHS 111. There are no live appointments on this page.
