Talk it through
Explain your symptoms, health history and questions in the same room as your GP.
Sometimes the right conversation is face to face. An in-person GP visit gives you space to talk and, where clinically appropriate, to be examined before deciding what happens next.
Allhours GP is in development. In-person appointments are planned only at confirmed, staffed locations. No clinic address, live slot or price is available on this page yet.

A clinic visit can make sense when you would prefer a face-to-face conversation, or when an examination could help your GP assess the concern properly.
Explain your symptoms, health history and questions in the same room as your GP.
A physical examination may help the clinician understand what is going on.
Understand the advice, any treatment and whether further care is appropriate.
An examination, treatment, test or referral is based on the individual clinical assessment and is not guaranteed in every appointment.
Video and telephone can be convenient for many concerns. A clinic appointment is a better fit when a GP needs to examine you or when face-to-face care is your preference and available.
Some symptoms need the clinician to examine you in person to make a safe decision.
Talk through an ongoing or new concern with the option of an examination if appropriate.
If tests, a referral or another service is needed, your GP can explain why and what to do next.
In-person appointments will be listed only at locations where a staffed service is confirmed.
We are designing the appointment journey so you know where to go, who you will see and what it costs before you confirm.
When booking opens, see confirmed clinic details, available times, the clinician, consultation length and full price.
Talk through your concern and have an examination if it is clinically appropriate. Bringing a list of medicines or questions may help.
Your GP will explain their assessment and plan, including advice, treatment or onward care where needed.
A face-to-face visit is about more than being in the room. It is a chance to understand your options and leave knowing what to do if things change.
Prescriptions, tests and referrals depend on clinical judgement. Any additional service and its cost should be explained before you agree to it.
Advice that makes sense for your concern and circumstances.
Treatment if appropriate, including prescribing only after assessment.
Further care when needed, such as investigations or a referral.
When clinic appointments open, a confirmed address, access information, clinician, duration and total appointment price will be shown before payment.
No location, time or price is shown here until a staffed clinic appointment is available to book.
This concept page does not reserve appointments or collect patient information. If you need medical help now, contact NHS 111 or call 999 for a life-threatening emergency.

A GP may recommend tests after assessing you. Whether any test is available at a location, when it can be done and what it costs will need to be confirmed separately.
Children’s care is planned, but age eligibility and clinic availability will be confirmed in the booking journey. Explore children’s GP care.
